. This is now home to the web site I had on MSN Groups, built October 11, 2000 after welcoming a growing number of photographers that made the journey to immortalize the all ALCo power used by the Quebec Cartier Railway. With the announcement that they would replace the old ALCs with new GEs, interest grew even stronger and I realized I was living the end of an era. Digital cameras made it easy for me to record that great period and I did so as much as I could without interfering with my job, and it was tolerated until tighter security caught up to this forgotten part of the world. The scenery is beautiful and the power memorable. Thanks to everyone that has encouraged me, and to those that have contributed photos and comments to make this a good place to spend some time. Enjoy ! Jim Redmond Port Cartier, Quebec j1m28@hotmail.com © 2009 Photos on this site belong to the person named on them, all others are mine.
